You will notice on the map the Familiars have an icon that looks like a paw to signify where the Familiar monuments are. This is due to the fact that some Familiars can only be reached by using Magic Parkour which you will learn while navigating the story. You will want to have progressed a bit in the story and upgrade your magic abilities before going on the mission to befriend all 20 Familiars. Once their trust is earned, Frey will be able to play with them after they go to the Pilgrim’s Refuges. If you don’t wait, you risk them running away and losing them. You will need to wait for this to disappear before approaching any further. If they’re aware of your presence, you will see a yellow exclamation point. Approach them slowly as they can be skittish and will run away if startled when you first meet them. To show their location, a glowing pulse will appear near the monument. Once you befriend them by petting them, at Refuge fast travel areas you will notice that they will visit you. They’re typically found sneaking around monuments. The Tantas who ruled Athia owned these creatures long ago. These are cat like creatures you can pet and befriend throughout Athia. There are a total of 20 familiars to befriend in the world of Athia. While this mission is pretty straightforward, it can be frustrating if you don’t have patience. With this achievement, you will befriend all Tanta Familiars in the game to receive a Bronze trophy. One trophy that is fairly easy to get is the achievement called Cat Person. The Platinum is achieved after you receive all the other trophies in the game. Of these 54 trophies, there will be 1 Platinum, 2 Gold, 7 Silver, and 44 Bronze. Considering the game is likely to be playable on the show floor, this is a wish that’ll probably come true too.In Forspoken, there are 54 trophies you can get by completing various quests and tasks. There’s not much left too see. However, gameplay is the obvious wish I – as a Far Cry fan – would love to be granted. It’s likely to be a good time to release the game – games released at this time of year have historically done well – but is depends on a number of factors, including perhaps, when RockStar plan to release Red Dead Redemption 2. Considering the game has so far been getting a big marketing push by Ubisoft, you might have assumed the game was poised to release the last quarter of this year (a space maybe occupied by Assassin’s Creed) but it is indeed slated for release in the increasingly popular Q1 position. Far Cry 5 will release February 27th 2018. I can’t imagine we’ll see it at any of the other conferences unless PlayStation feel like showing some of that exclusive add-on content. It’s likely to be showcased centre-stage right next to Assassin’s Creed: Origins. Obviously Ubisoft’s E3 Press Conference at 6:00 AM Tuesday June 13th (AEST). Since then, numerous teasers have been dropped, including details on the games setting, antagonists, cover art and release date. Far Cry 5 was rather unceremoniously announced only a couple of weeks ago during an Ubisoft company call and subsequent forum and social media posts on the 16th May. Despite the new, the open-world, first-person action remains as the franchise continually evolves but maintains the core gameplay elements that makes the Far Cry world so gosh-darn fun to romp around within. And there’s a lot to be excited about: a radically different setting, sinister-sounding baddies and seemingly very relevant themes to today’s political and cultural climate. You can find out when all the press conferences are taking place in Australian/NZ times HERE. In the lead-up to E3, we’re counting down with our most anticipated titles.
